The first challenge of the week was to create a surreal library scene that merges with the outdoors.
9/27/26 “Wandering Stories”
The next one was to create an image of a childhood picture of a favorite childhood song.
9/28/26 “Puff The Magic Dragon”
My dragon won the challenge, so I got to pick the next one.
Someone (or something) has shown up where it definitely wasn’t invited.
Create a scene in which an unexpected guest has crashed the occasion. Your intruder can be human, animal, supernatural, mythical, alien, monstrous, enormous, tiny, adorable, terrifying—or something nobody can quite explain. Maybe it’s…
- Death quietly taking an empty seat at a wedding reception.
- A sea monster emerging beside an elegant yacht party.
- A ghost attending its own funeral.
- An alien joining a suburban family’s backyard barbecue.
9/29/26 “Toad Takes The Cake”
The next challenge was to depict an everyday object containing an entire intricate ecosystem.
9/30/26 “Drawerverse”
The next challenge was to create something of EPIC SIZE and have something recognizable in the scene to help put the scale in perspective.
10/1/26 “Ships For Scale
Today’s challenge was to create an image of a reaction. I decided to flip the tables ono the typical fear reaction humans have to ghosts. A human’s kindness instead surprises a ghost.
10/2/26 “You Can See Me?”
The next one was fun. We had to give a food a personality.
10/3/26 “Heirloom Tomato” She is organic and comes from Old Vine Money and looks down on everyone who is of the newer varieties.
And here are some of the honorable mentions that I did not submit, but still published on my art website:
