Mine won last week, so I created the prompt challenge for this week.  I learned about an artist named D’Lavigne while scrolling on Xiohongshu (RedNote), whose surreal, melancholy paintings use a signature deep blue tone to capture quiet solitude, empty cities, and starlit oceans. The scenes often feature the following themes:

•    Emotional Stillness – solitary figures on benches or rooftops suspended in time.

•    Monochromatic Palette – dominated by deep midnight blues and faint points of warm light.

•    Surreal Landscapes – combines classical architecture with endless starlit seas and lighthouses.

Ours could feature a different color palette, but was supposed to be dominated by one primary color and combine the emotional stillness and surreal landscapes to create our own poetic realm.

Platform – Gencraft; Model – Olafs-Blueberry Drift
